Hello, my name is Thomas Sheehy. I am a 21 year old Caucasian male majoring in English at Ohio University. I can't say that I was thrilled when I learned that the summer session would cover the topic of vampires, however I will remain open minded about the class and readings. I am hopeful that looking at vampire literature with a lens of feminine theory may reveal a layer in the monster genre that I never before realized or appreciated. While I have no idea what I will write about or how I will approach these books, I am sure the class will be difficult, but entertaining and worthwhile.
